JR103419Under minimal supervision, the Enterprise Infrastructure
Architect I is responsible for the design, implementation, and
maintenance of GBMC's IT infrastructure. As an Architect, they will
focus on leveraging secure, scalable, and efficient solutions to
support critical applications and systems. The ideal candidate will
have substantial experience with cloud and on-premises
environments, networking, storage, and security best practices.
Participates in after-hour and on-call support.EducationBachelor's
degree in computer science or related field or equivalent
experience.Experience4-7 years of progressive responsibility
designing, implementing, and maintaining corporate enterprise IT
infrastructure including storage, physical hosts,
hypervisors/virtual hosts, WAN, and LAN-based networks (wired,
wireless).Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Excellent skill in oral and written communication.
- Knowledge of advanced administrative tasks on multiple
platforms and operating systems.
- Ability to manage multiple complex tasks simultaneously.
- Experience with DNS, DHCP, and networking protocols.
- Experience with OSI networking model.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google
Cloud).
- Proficiency in networking, storage, virtualization, and server
technologies.
- Familiarity with healthcare IT systems such as EHRs (Epic,
Cerner, etc.).
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles and compliance
requirements (HIPAA, HITRUST).
- Knowledge of automation tools (Ansible, Terraform, PowerShell,
etc.) is a plus.Licensures, CertificationsCertification in one or
more of the following platforms is preferred: Cisco (CCNA, CCNP,
CCIE), VMware (VCAP), Palo Alto, Microsoft Azure, AWS.Physical

- Working conditions are that of a normal office environment with
little exposure to noise, dust, and unfavorable temperatures.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in designing and implementing IT infrastructure
solutions to support clinical and administrative systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure
infrastructure aligns with business and regulatory
requirements.
- Support the integration of cloud and on-premises technologies,
ensuring high availability and performance.
- Ensure IT infrastructure meets HIPAA, HITRUST, and other
healthcare compliance standards.
- Implement security best practices, including data protection,
access controls, and network security measures.
- Monitor infrastructure performance and recommend optimizations
to improve efficiency and reliability.
- Assist with capacity planning and scalability strategies.
- Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis for
infrastructure-related issues.

offer will be based on the candidate's qualifications, education,
