screening.Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Staff Data
Analyst to join our Data & Analytics team. The ideal candidate will
be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting complex
data sets to drive strategic business decisions. This role requires
a deep understanding of data analytics, statistical modeling, and
business intelligence tools. The Staff Data Analyst will lead
multiple complex projects, define requirements, provide technical
expertise, and guide the BI reporting team to develop insights,
optimize processes, and improve data-driven decision-making across
the organization.This role requires that you work onsite at our
office in Palo Alto, CA in accordance with our hybrid policy.Key
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with multiple teams to understand business
objectives and translate them to system and data requirements.
- Ensure that business requirements align with data availability
and quality constraints and map data sources to relevant KPIs.
- Document the requirements in JIRA, provide acceptance criteria,
and groom the backlog with the Data Engineering and QA team.
- Analyze large and complex datasets to provide actionable
business insights. Perform statistical analyses and predictive
modeling to identify trends and opportunities.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to
track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Utilize SQL, Python, and other programming languages for data
extraction and analysis.
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders and senior
leadership in a clear and concise manner.
- Work with database management systems and data warehouses to
structure and organize data efficiently.
- Establish and maintain a comprehensive data catalog, ensuring
data accuracy, integrity, and adherence to governance policies for
data assets.
- Drive innovation in data visualization and reporting by
exploring new tools and technologies. Mentor and guide BI
Engineers.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies,
and best practices in data analytics.QualificationsBachelor's or
Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science,
Business Analytics, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in data analysis, business
intelligence, or a related role with strong analytical and
problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power
BI, or Looker.
- Strong statistical and analytical skills with experience in
Python, R, or similar programming languages.
- Knowledge of machine learning techniques and predictive
modeling is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate data
findings into business insights.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a
fast-paced environment.
- Experience working in Agile development model using JIRA or
similar project management tools.
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google
Cloud, or Azure is a plus.
- Experience in the healthcare industry and understanding the
regulations, standards, and processes such as HIPAA, CAP/CLIA, and
FDA compliance.
- Experience and understanding of billing, reimbursement, and
claims adjudication process in healthcare is a huge plus.
- Familiarity with HL7, FHIR, and EMR integrations is a
plus.Additional InformationHybrid Work Model: At Guardant Health,
we have defined days for in-person/onsite collaboration and
work-from-home days for individual-focused time. All U.S. employees
who live within 50 miles of a Guardant facility will be required to
be onsite on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. We have found

our science for our patients.For positions based in Palo Alto, CA
or Redwood City, CA, the base salary range for this full-time
position is $138,800-187,380. The range does not include benefits,
and if applicable, bonus, commission, or equity.Within the range,
individual pay is determined by work location and additional
factors, including, but not limited to, job-related skills,
experience, and relevant education or training. If you are selected

to the factors above.Employee may be required to lift routine
office supplies and use office equipment. Majority of the work is
performed in a desk/office environment; however, there may be
exposure to high noise levels, fumes, and biohazard material in the
