design.The Siemens EDA Hardware Assisted Verification Operations
team is looking for a responsible professional to handle the
day-to-day activities of managing the materials supply planning,
inventory and manufacturing control functions, and backlog
management of our hardware product lines to meet the goals of the
business. Additionally, this person will be responsible for
building strong relationships with all Siemens functional team
members, key suppliers and contract manufacturers. They will
support the division in improving our supplier communications,
execution strategy, and resolution of critical issues.Primary
Responsibilities include:
- Manage execution activities cross-functionally with Materials,
Commodity, Logistics, Quality, and Finance groups.
- Support the organization in inventory control activities.
- Communicate demands, place shopping carts, and review open
orders with contract manufacturers and direct suppliers.
- Participate in a key role in the management of new SAP
implementation projects.
- Monitor the goods receipt process to ensure timely and accurate
receipts of goods.
- Coordinate with Sales and the customer to determine hardware
configuration requirements.
- Manage PO unit costs and ensure alignment with latest
quotes.
- Coordinate with Global Logistics to ensure orders are being
shipped to the customer on time.
- Work with the contract manufacturers to ensure the correct
materials and correct quantities are available as needed for
production and the management of the backlog.
- Coordinate and manage consigned materials at contract
manufacturers.
- Facilitate reconciliation requests with contract manufacturers
and internally.
- Work with multiple teams to resolve problems at the contract
manufacturers as it relates to factory planning, backlog
management, and overall build plan execution.
- Review open order reports with our contract manufactures to
ensure there's alignment and to reconcile any discrepancies.
- Manage inventory and material liability to meet Siemens' goals.
This includes ensuring adequate inventory is maintained by the
contract manufacturer.Qualifications:
- Typically requires BA/BS, technical degree or equivalent.
- 5+ years industry experience in high tech hardware sector.
- Experience with use of major ERP/MRP and PDM system such as SAP
(preferred), Oracle, Agile or Arena (preferred).
- Experience with supplier management, materials and inventory
management.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain processes and procedures
including manufacturing & materials planning as well as some demand
planning processes.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Advanced Excel skills (formula, lookup, pivot tables, graphing
and reporting).
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Seasoned in developing and maintaining supplier relationships
and managing delivery schedules in a technology development
environment.
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills with an ability
to multi-task.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively
in a dynamic team environment.This position will be subject to U.S.
export control requirements under the International Traffic in Arms
Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR).

is $82,100 to $147,800 and this role is eligible to earn incentive
compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on the
successful candidate's work location as well as additional factors,
including job-related skills, experience, and relevant
