Job Description:The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) works with the providers and other members of the health care team performing a variety of clinical and administrative patient-related duties. The LVN also works to fulfill a variety of patient needs and ensures smooth work flows within the practices.
Performs selected patient care and administrative functions as designated by the Provider / Site Manager or Supervisor. Provides backup clinical and administrative support to the Medical Assistants, call center, schedulers and reception.Education:

• Completion of Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse Program - RequiredExperience:
  • 2 years Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) - Preferred, preferably in a Physician office settingCertifications/ Licensure:
    • LVN Licensed Vocational Nurse - California Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians - Required
    • BLS Basic Life Support - American Heart Association - RequiredSkills:
      • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
      • Prior EPIC EMR experience preferred.
      • Knowledge of organizational policies, procedures, systems and objectives.
      • Ability to deal professionally with all types of individuals under stressful situations.Work Shift:08.0 - 08:00 - 17:00 No Waive (United States of America)Pay Range:$36.93 - $49.85HourlyOffer amounts are based on demonstrated/relevant experience and/or licensure.Note: Positions at JMH which are exempt (not eligible for overtime) under the level of Manager are listed as hourly for compensation purposes on this posting.
