You will verify and validate that mapping functions across vehicle and cloud software meet required standards and that the software functions as expected. This will be achieved through automation, manual, and semi-automated testing.Your contributions will include building and enhancing automation tools and infrastructure to enable scalability. As a key team member, you will not only validate but also raise standards by initiating improvements, identifying issues, collaborating across teams, and meticulously testing and verifying bug fixes through to resolution.Join us in shaping the future of automotive technology if you are enthusiastic about QA, automation, and delivering high-quality solutions.Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated tests to improve test efficiency and enable testing early in the development cycle.
• Identify, analyze, and document defects encountered during integration testing both on sub-system HILs, in vehicle and in the cloud.
• Work closely with developers to resolve issues and ensure defects are effectively addressed.
• Collaborate with other cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and system architecture.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall testing processes and methodologies.
• Maintain test environments and ensure they are up-to-date.Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree or greater in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a similar discipline.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in integration, cloud services, infotainment systems, or consumer electronics test automation.
• Deep understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and techniques.
• Proficient in version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Solid knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell) for test automation.
• Comfortable working with POSIX-based embedded systems (Linux, Android, QNX).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and effectively manage time and priorities.Pay DisclosureSalary Range for California Based Applicants: 186,000 USD - 232,500 USD (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).Benefits Summary: Rivian and Volkswagen Group Technologies provides robust medical/Rx, dental and vision insurance packages for full-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26.
