  As the Associate Chief Medical Officer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our healthcare-focused AI products. Reporting directly to our Chief Medical Officer, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, and go-to-market, to ensure our products align with clinical needs, regulatory standards, and safety protocols.This is a unique opportunity for an experienced healthcare professional with a strong background in product development to combine their clinical expertise with cutting-edge technology in an onsite, fast-paced startup environment.Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical expertise to inform the design, development, and iteration of AI-driven healthcare products.
  • Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define product requirements, features, and roadmaps.
  • Serve as a clinical subject matter expert in client meetings, presentations, and demonstrations of AI products.
  • Travel to customer sites to provide clinical support, gather user feedback, and ensure successful product adoption.
  • Ensure all products meet high safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
  • Validate the clinical relevance, accuracy, and usability of AI models and tools.
  • Partner with internal teams to align product development with market needs and customer feedback.
  • Work closely with the GTM team to translate clinical insights into impactful product solutions.
  • Act as a clinical leader and mentor for internal teams, providing insights on medical trends, technologies, and challenges.
  • Advocate for evidence-based approaches and patient-centered care throughout the product lifecycle.QualificationsMust Haves:
    • MD or DO degree with active, unrestricted medical licensure.
    • 5+ years of experience in clinical practice.
    • Demonstrated experience in healthcare product development (e.g., digital health, medical devices, or AI applications).
    • Proven ability to translate clinical needs into product specifications.
    • Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and FDA guidelines.
    • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Willingness to work onsite in Palo Alto, CA, five days a week.Nice to Haves:
      • Experience working in a health tech or startup environment.
      • Background in leading cross-disciplinary teams.
      • Familiarity with AI/ML applications in healthcare.
