We are looking for a seasoned, hands-on Software Engineering Manager with a strategic mindset who thrives on action. In this role, you will lead multiple teams of full-stack engineers, overseeing the development and scaling of web applications while balancing technical and business objectives. You lead by example, inspiring your team through mentorship, technical expertise, and alignment of priorities to achieve measurable business outcomes.
With a strong foundation in both DevOps and full-stack development, you excel at guiding cross-functional teams in React, Node.js, MySQL, NoSQL, AWS, and CI/CD practices. You will focus on building high-quality, maintainable software that supports scalability and long-term organizational goals. Collaboration, accountability, and fostering a culture of innovation are at the heart of your leadership style.
How You'll Make An Impact:


  • Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and coach multiple engineering teams, creating a collaborative, psychologically safe, and high-performance environment.
  • Strategic Roadmapping: Collaborate with Product and Program Managers to create long-term development roadmaps, aligning technical capabilities with business priorities.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide hands-on leadership in React, Node.js, TypeScript, MySQL, NoSQL, and AWS technologies. Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the team adopts the best tools and strategies.
  • Agile Processes & DevOps: Lead Agile teams, promote CI/CD practices, and ensure efficient and reliable software delivery through iterative, frequent releases.
  • Platform Ownership: Take ownership of the performance, scalability, and reliability of the systems your teams build, fostering maintainable, resilient architectures.
  • Full-Stack Development: Guide the development of scalable web applications, ensuring the right mix of front-end (React) and back-end (Node.js) expertise across the teams.
  • Database Management: Oversee the implementation and optimization of relational databases like MySQL and NoSQL systems, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a key partner with Product, Design, and other Engineering departments to align priorities, resolve blockers, and meet deadlines.
  • Process Optimization: Foster continuous learning and improvement, evolve engineering processes, and prioritize technical debt reduction for scalability and maintainability.
  • Business & Technical Alignment: Translate technical challenges into business insights and advocate for engineering needs at the executive level.

    What You Bring:

    • Experience: 10+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 3+ years in a leadership role managing full-stack development teams.
    • Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in React, Node.js, MySQL, NoSQL, TypeScript, AWS, and DevOps best practices. Experience with object-oriented and functional programming.
    • Leadership Skills: Proven track record of leading diverse teams and delivering complex projects in fast-paced environments.
    • Cloud & Architecture: Expertise in cloud-based architectures and hands-on experience with AWS (preferred) or other cloud platforms.
    • Agile Methodologies: In-depth knowledge of Agile methodologies with experience leading teams in CI/CD environments.

      Nice-to-Have:

      • Experience with Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
      • Exposure to Machine Learning or IoT applications.

        Compensation: The estimated base salary range for this position is $149,000 to $204,800 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.
