Working together, we'll create a future that's more connected, more intelligent, more sustainable for everyone.Role SummaryRivian VW Group Technologies is seeking a talented and motivated Solutions Engineer with a strong focus on integrations for reliability engineering, materials engineering, and quality initiatives. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in developing seamless back-end integrations between specialized engineering applications such as PLATO (DFMEA, PFMEA) and enterprise-level applications including PLM (3DExperience), Jira, and JAMA. This role demands a proactive and innovative engineer capable of building robust, scalable, and high-performance solutions that bridge multiple platforms and support Rivian's engineering and quality operations.Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of Atlassian products, ensuring they are optimized for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Oversee software upgrades, patches, and updates, including performing necessary testing and validation.
• Maintain and improve the health of the Atlassian environment, ensuring high availability and minimizing downtime.
• Design, configure, and implement complex workflows, permission schemes, issue types, dashboards, and custom fields in Jira, ensuring they meet the needs of different teams.
• Customize Confluence spaces, templates, and permissions to improve collaboration and knowledge management.
• Build and configure automation rules and scripts using Atlassian's native tools (e.g., Jira Automation) and third-party apps to streamline business processes.
• Lead efforts to integrate Atlassian tools with other enterprise systems, such as CI/CD tools, version control systems (e.g., Git, Bitbucket), and cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Implement and manage custom APIs, webhooks, and REST API integrations to support cross-platform automation and data synchronization.
• Collaborate with DevOps, software engineering, and business teams to ensure seamless workflows between tools and other systems.
• Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations to enhance the scalability and speed of Atlassian products.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for end-users, escalating issues where necessary and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Work closely with project managers, business analysts, developers, and other stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide tailored solutions within the Atlassian suite.Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience with the administration, configuration, and support of Atlassian tools.
  • Solid experience in system integrations and API development with Atlassian tools (e.g., integrating Jira with other tools or services).
  • Experience managing and supporting large, enterprise-scale Atlassian environments.Pay DisclosureSalary Range/Hourly Rate for California-Based Applicants: 117,000 to 146,000 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).Benefits Summary:Rivian and Volkswagen Group Technologies provides robust medical/Rx, dental and vision insurance packages for full-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26.
